How to look good naked....

Lifting weights doesn’t make women huge, Cupcakes do

I’ve been coaching for years now and I have heard about all the excuses you can think of; I have a slow metabolism, I have had children, I have not much time to train, I am built heavy. We can come up with any excuse we like, I have learned over the years that anyone can look good naked.

Women have long been considered weaker than men. The reason this is the case is simply due to hormones. Men have much higher levels of testosterone, a muscle-building hormone, whereas women have higher levels of estrogen, which can lead to excess fat. How unfair is that….

But we can change that! By doing resistance training we will increase testosterone which helps us built muscle and guess what… Adding muscle will actually help support your metabolism and allow you to lose fat in those trouble areas.

Women who still think doing resistance training makes you bulky must start reading some research before they come to those conclusions. For a woman to become bulky you need to develop a lot of muscles which will include a lot of training. Not just once a day… A LOT OF TRAINING…

So lets stop thinking we women should run for hours on the treadmill to burn fat … NO stop that! For you to burn fat on the treadmill you need to run for miles which is boring and takes a lot of time.

I am a mum of 3, run my own business and a household. My time to train is limited so every hour I spend in the gym needs to be as effective as possible to reach my goal which is to feel fit, look good and be healthy.
