Today we like to introduce you to our Barbell coach: Jason
“I started coaching when I was 18 when I was trained as a PTI “physical training instructor” in the army.
I started coaching at CHALKBOX in January 2016 (8 years) WOW
My favourite part of coaching at CHALKBOX is having to be versatile, as we have a wide range of members, this on its own, has made me a better coach and have a better understanding of the human biomechanics. Lifting heavy shit well!
My favourite workout… this has to be “Macho Man”
My favourite food can only be Steak, the bigger the better.
90% of my spare time is spent around my bees hives lol.”
Jason teaches our members how to use a Barbell. He can teach anyone how to Olympic Lift no matter what your current level is.
Olympic lifts can be used to improve strength, speed and power as well as enhance high-intensity exercise endurance, recover more quickly and handle higher amounts of training. With greater work capacity, you can do more exercise each session and reach your health and fitness goals faster.
You can find Jason at CHALKBOX on Wednesday evenings and in the weekends.
