Personal Trainer - The best in the field

At CHALKBOX, we only work with the most highly motivated coaches in the field. We have a great team of varied coaches and today we would like to introduce you to Coach Laura. 

Laura recently had a change within her career, she has gone from being a part-time fitness instructor and a full-time recruitment specialist, into being a full-time fitness coach. Laura always strives for perfection when it comes to her work. She will spend hours researching movement patterns to see where her clients can improve, and to see how they can move better in order to help them make more progress in their general fitness. 


Laura loves Olympic lifting and in her personal time, she trains to perfect her lifts and to get stronger. 
"I took part in a lot of sports when I was younger, I was up for trying anything including tennis, volleyball, and athletics, I was even lucky enough to try sailing and rowing and competed at national level in kayaking as a teenager. After that, I spent a lot of time in normal gyms and took up taekwondo. I always liked to change things up and try new things so finding CrossFit was perfect because it offered so much variation and the opportunity to constantly develop and hit new goals. I took up CrossFit in 2015 and haven't looked back, taking part in local competitions in both CrossFit and Olympic Lifting.” 

She has also developed a real interest in nutrition and is currently training to become CHALKBOX’s nutrition coach. 

Laura’s client base ranges from someone who wants to burn body fat and improve there fitness, to others who want to perfect their Olympic lifts.  She also coaches groups of teens to help them move better, and gain strength in a fun way. 
She has also designed multiple Pull up programs for the CHALKBOX members and loves to support anyone with an interest in improving their gymnastic skills. 

We are super excited to inform you that Laura currently has the availability to start helping anyone who wants to kickstart their fitness - This will start with spending some time discussing and understanding your goals, and from there she will design a unique program. With a drive to help all of her clients reach their full potential, Laura will test them on a regular basis to ensure they are making the correct progress. Whether this is on the scales, in a 5k run, or in hitting your heavy lifts.
