THIS WEEK AT THE GYM 06.01.2020

New On The Chalkboard

And we are off! We are very excited about 2020 and hope you have a great year ahead. There are several new things happening at the gym so please stay tuned via email or our FB group Chalk-It.

New this time around is your opportunity to sit down with your coaches to discuss your fitness goals and any support you might require from us. All details are in the post below Tools to breakthrough your fitness ceiling.

If you have not signed up yet for the CHALKBOX Social on Saturday January 18th, please do so as we need to know numbers for our reservation.

Training Focus This Week

What to expect this week?

Are you liking the new programming? It is challenging and it will push you out of your comfort zone! Any questions speak to one of the coaches.

MONDAY

Workout of the day

Squats. That’s it.

Interval Training Today is a long aerobic session to begin our week

TUESDAY

WORKOUT of the day

Conditioning. Row. Zoom in on your technique.

Strength: Working on activating your muscle and keeping form. We will finish off with a short high intensity workout

WEDNESDAY

WORKOUT of the day

Clean and Jerk followed by complex. Go medium heavy.

Threshold: Today you can really push yourself. We have also added some gymnastics to practise your skill and speed.

THURSDAY

WORKOUT of the day

Triplet of barbell and gymnastics. Take your time to work on your skills.

Strength & Conditioning: Today we are continuing to build on our single-arm press while also putting the rest of the body through a tough test!

FRIDAY

WORKOUT of the day

Run & Pulls. The session will start off with Pull Up development work :-)

Conditioning: Aerobic training, find a pace and weight you can maintain and keep going.

SATURDAY

WORKOUT of the day

Squats and…… no clock work out Muscle ups or any other pull development needed.
