MEET CLAIRE THOMAS YOUR NUTRITIONIST

I started CrossFit 5 years ago after feeling the need to adapt my then current training regime.
My biggest achievement in CrossFit is most defiantly hitting a 65kg clean, and a box record on 500m. 
My favourite girls are Fran and Annie. Although Fran is grotesque I love the achievement of completing it and Annie is such fun. My worst workout would probably be the hero WOD "Small" .. Burpees are my nemesis!! 

I started focusing more on food firstly for physic purposes then more to impact my training abilities. Food is Fuel it's simple!! 
70% of what you put into your body defines your physic and hugely impacts your fitness abilities.

 

I used to be an emotional eater so I've really had to dig deep over the years to  work out what my triggers were and focus on training the signals to my brain!! 


My favourite snack is cold lean marinated meat!! Or a green smoothie which I call "the hulk" its predominately greens with a refreshing kick of frozen mango!!


I'm a human and very much eat with my eyes and how I'm feeling so if I fancy "cheating" I will workout a healthier alternative to a "cheat meal". My favourite is my Thai ginger, asparagus beef with cauliflower rice. It's 100% Paleo and just like eating a grubby Chinese but healthy, nutritious and medicine for the body!!
