We are proud to introduce you to a new addition to TEAM CHALKBOX: Katie Henry

“Having worked in the Fitness Industry for 23 years both in the UK and America, I take a step away from Management to finally follow my dream to help and inspire others to achieve their personal fitness goals.

I am passionate about fitness and wellbeing and believe that exercise has a place in everyone’s life. It’s all about how you feel, both body and mind.

I enjoy teaching HITT workouts, circuit training and have a passion for mobilisation, working from the inside out. Whether you are new to fitness or you are striving to reach that long-term goal, I am here to provide you with the confidence to make this happen.

Having 3 young children I am fully aware of the struggles and time restraints that we mums go through. Finding time to escape the day-to-day and focus on yourself is something that I found to be essential. (My husband calls this my 'me-time’).

I have always been a keen sportswoman and competed in Gymnastics for South East London and 200m Sprints from a young age. I now enjoy keeping fit and staying healthy and thrive on completing annual challenges whilst raising money for Breast Cancer. I am an avid runner and have completed half marathons, the London Marathon, and more recently a few Tough Mudder challenges, the submersion into ice-cold water ‘The Arctic Enema’ clearly wasn’t enough to put me off the first time around!

Aside from Fitness, I enjoy traveling, baking, and spending time with my family”.
