Lauren's Change Challenge experience

Lauren has been a member at CHALKBOX since 2015. She comes in on a regular basis and always works hard. When Laura started she was already fit and strong and only got stronger and fitter since. She always has looked great but at one point she changed from looking good to looking awesome. And even better she has managed to maintain that look and is leaner than she has ever been. Her diet has helped her build more muscle, burn fat and made good progress in her sessions too.

We haver asked Lauren about her experience in our CHALKBOX Change Challenge which was the point she turned from great to awesome! This is what she said:

“Initially I made such a drastic change to my diet I found I lost weight quickly and felt good. I could see it dropping off!

Once the first week is over and you have coped well with the lifestyle changes and can see a difference you stay motivated. I would allow myself a cheat night if I went out for dinner, in a strange way it helps you to get back on track the next day!

I have a serious sweet tooth and would find it really hard to not have chocolate!

I could easily sit and eat half a packet of chocolate biscuits whilst watching the telly in the evening.

I would still allow myself something sweet after dinner so I wasn’t left craving, but obviously was sensible.

I wasn’t aware that I was eating lots of food that was very high in fat, I found using My Fitness Pal app really helped me stay on track.

Also veggies can be very filling and tasty!! It’s doesn’t have to be boring!!”
