We are proud to introduce you to a new member of our CHALKBOX coahing team: Sam

“Fitness has been a huge part of my life, and I love helping others discover what they’re capable of through CrossFit. As a coach, my goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable, challenged, and motivated, regardless of their fitness level or experience.

I believe CrossFit is about much more than workouts. It’s about building confidence, developing healthy habits, and becoming part of a community that encourages you to be your best. Whether you’re stepping into the gym for the first time, working toward a personal goal, or chasing a new PR, I’m committed to helping you progress safely and confidently while enjoying the journey.

One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing people achieve things they never thought possible. I love celebrating those wins; big and small and helping members build strength not just physically, but mentally as well. My aim is for every athlete to leave class feeling accomplished, supported, and excited to come back for more.

Alongside CrossFit, I have a real passion for running and have completed 10 marathons. The discipline, resilience, and determination that running has taught me are values I bring into my coaching every day.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me eating cake and drinking vanilla lattes, spending time with my dogs, family, and friends.
