BACK TO BASICS CYCLE - Week 2

Hopefully, you all have read our “Raise the Bar” post (this link). This post is not meant to tell you off for coming late or for not squatting deep enough. Our Raise the Bar focus is to help all CHALKBOX members become the best version of themselves. With a new coaching team in place, it is now more than ever our goal to achieve this

What will this mean for you?

  • going back to basics means we go through every detail of the points of performance

  • we will help you with a scale if you lack mobility

  • we will invite you for a separate session by yourself or with some others to work on your mobility if needed

  • . we will invite you for a separate session to focus on form if needed

WORKOUT OF THE DAY:

  • MONDAY -CLOSED- Bank holiday

  • TUESDAY [BUILD & GRIND] Squats followed by Wallballs, KBS and Pull Ups

  • WEDNESDAY [BUILD & GRIND] Push Jerk followed by Rowing and Presses

  • THURSDAY - [BUILD & GRIND] Squat Cleans followed by “Dead by Burpees”

  • FRIDAY - [SWEAT & SPRINT] Handstand Hold practise followed by a spice WOD

  • SATURDAY - [BUILD & SWEAT] Deficit Deadlift followed by CF Open 22.2

  • SUNDAY - [SWEAT & SRPINT] Team WOD


OTHERS:

  • We are giving away vouchers for a FREE dinner for 2 at Three Sisters or £100 to spend at Chart Farm Butcher. Ask your coaches how you can get a voucher

  • On September 3rd we are hoping to have a nice group of members (and friends) join us in the Nuts Challenge. It’s a fun MUD Race. We like to know if you are joining so we can negotiate a group discount and get numbers sorted. LET US KNOW ASAP!
