At CHALKBOX, we only work with the most highly motivated coaches in the field. We have a great team of varied coaches and today we would like to introduce you to Coach Mel . 

“From a young age sport and fitness has always been a part of my life from water sports, hockey, and dance, at school I always knew I wanted to make it my life. So I decided to study Health and Rehabilitation at Bournemouth University”.

“ My coaching style is combing physiotherapy rehabilitation techniques. I create programs for people with injuries that incorporate strength around your weaknesses as well as getting a good workout in. Mobility and strength go hand in hand and a combination of the right movement pattern and flexibility are key to living a prolonged life”.

Too many people avoid working on their fitness due to injuries or other limitations that make them avoid going to the gym. And we all know that fitness is a vital part of living a long and healthy life. The joy I get from seeing someone being able to move if they’ve been told they can’t never gets boring.

Next to being a fitness- and rehabilitation coach, Mel has her own Sportsmasage clinic which is a unique way for her to help people become fit after being ‘broken’. She also does dry needling and spinal manipulation.

Anyone returning back to the gym after a long break or recovering from an injury will benefit from training with Mel.
