PINK WEEK

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes. Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.

CHALKBOX has several members who have gone through or are going through Breast Cancer Treatment. We like to raise awareness among all our members and their friends and family by organising a PINK WEEK

This will take place on Saturday 19/10. You can have people sponsor you, but this is not a must. Use this link

Our Row-a-thon will be earning meters through rowing and side events in teams of 5. You can earn meters throughout this week (14/10-19/10) for wearing pink or any other way you can support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 10m for every item worn. You can wear the same thing EVERY day and earn points EVERY day. Just please wash your clothes at the end of the day. No points for stinkiness:)

Row as many meters as you can within the 2 hour time frame. When not rowing, perform the following movements, if possible:

AMRAP 90 sec

Max Pull Ups (15m) or Burpee Pullups(30m) (per rep)

Wall Ball Shots(10m) (per rep)

Max Jump Rope: Double Under (3m) Single (1m) (per rep)

Max DB Snatch 22.5/15kg (15m) 10/15kg (10m) 7/10kg (5m) (per rep)

Burpee (5m) (per rep)

1 attempt at each extra event per person. Make sure you have someone who counts your reps and signs them off.

If you don’t have a team, we will put you on one. This is for CHALKBOX members. But bring your friends – or family to support you. OMG, so much excitement that week!
