New On The Chalkboard

Well done to everyone who joined the Run & Cake! It was great to see the buzz back at CHALKBOX and have a nice ‘get together’ after the run. Make sure you all log your time for the 5k so we can repeat this soon.

Most of you have downloaded the BOXMATE app. If you haven’t done so yet, make sure you do to stay up-to-date with the workouts and gym news.

A little reminder: the teen sessions on Tuesday and Friday will move from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm as the schools will start again.

Barbell Club will now be 1.5 hours on Sundays: 10 am-11:30 am.

Thanks, everyone for making sure we all stay safe! Keep your distance during the sessions and clean all equipment used. Together we are strong and can beat anything coming our way :-)!

Training Focus This Week

What to expect this week?

Plenty of variety but not at random! Squats cycle is starting Monday with 20 rep challenge. These sessions will alternate on the days so everyone will squat. We are picking up the pace in the conditioning workouts focusing on building that engine. Lastly, you will notice that on selected days we have Movement Fix sessions. These are set of exercises targeted on our smaller muscle groups in specific parts of our body with the goal to fix weaknesses, address stability issues and strengthen your connective tissues.
