Hello Chalkers,

The mornings are getting lighter and spring is in the air,.... and you know what that means? It means that the summer isn't far away! I'm sure all of us are looking forward to longer evenings, holidays, fun in the sun, training outside and all of the great things that the warmer weather will bring......

But wait????? Are you summer ready? Have you indulged a bit too much over the winter months? Is your summer body hiding at the moment?

Don't worry Chalkers, we've got you covered and we are here to get you back on track.....

Say hello to the next ChalkBox Nutrition Challenge!!!!!

As we've just finished the Open and we're all a bit in love with CrossFit, we have decided to focus this nutrition challenge around the CrossFit Nutrition philosophy.

Crossfit's diet recommendation is to eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.

(to our vegan and vegetarian comrades, this challenge is for you too, obviously the meat part doesn't apply but we will be focussed on getting the right amount of protein in the right combinations)

We see you giving it your all in the gym week after week, but if you truly want to optimise your training and achieve the best results possible, your nutrition must be on point. We want to help our members eat a healthy diet of whole, unprocessed foods in the appropriate amounts.

It's a common misconception that CrossFit advocates a paleo diet, and, while many CrossFitters do in fact eat paleo, CrossFit HQ has long recommended the zone diet for those who love all things CrossFit. So, for this challenge, we will be following the zone diet while we help you clean up your nutrition!

Details

  • The challenge will run for 4 weeks, starting May 2nd to help kick start good nutrition in the lead up to the summer.

  • You will be given a personalised breakdown depending on your goals

  • You will be given help and support in learning what the zone diet is and how to follow it

  • You will be given a weekly inbody scan so we can monitor your progress as well as a weekly check-in to see how you're getting on and address any issues.

  • There will be group chats to help support each other and share ideas so we can all get the most out of the challenge.

  • The price for this challenge will be £45 for 4 weeks.
